The George Morrison Catalogue Raisonné Project (GMCRP) is an initiative dedicated to documenting the complete body of work of George Morrison, a pivotal figure in American modernism and Native American art. Known for his mastery in abstract expressionism and his use of natural materials, Morrison’s work transcends cultural boundaries, blending Indigenous perspectives with modern art practices. This project seeks to preserve his legacy by cataloguing his extensive range of artworks, from paintings and sculptures to works on paper and unique pieces in various media.

This project aims to preserve Morrison’s legacy and make his contributions accessible to scholars, collectors, and the public. We are working with museums, galleries, and collectors worldwide to ensure each work is carefully documented and authenticated.

If you own a work by George Morrison, we invite you to contribute through our Call for Works. By participating, you help safeguard and honor Morrison’s unique artistic legacy for future generations.

The George Morrison Estate is represented by Bockley Gallery.
